an apology is in order

To those on the journey to NOW with me,

I apologize for the inconvenience of yesterday’s blog. You, no doubt, received 2 posts— two and an half hours apart.  Our internet service was totally unpredictable and sporadic yesterday; I should have left my desk and walked away. Because it was our anniversary,  I so wanted it to post on the day!!

The blog had failed to post about 3 times, and then when service was connected again, it posted with abnormalities! I immediately  deleted the version which was out of order with triple pictures.  But it was already on its way in space, waiting to bombard your email.

I am so sorry. I had to delete all previous ones and rename it.  That’s why you have two with different names.  If you didn’t read the one . . . rewinding . . .  then please try again.

Thank you for your understanding.  What would we do without social media?

Sending thankfulness to each of you as you travel with me,

Barb Suiter

About oct17

The little girl in me loves bird watching, butterflies, sunrises, sunsets, walks in the rain; the adult I am enjoys the same. I sense God's awesomeness in all of life--what wonder there is in slicing a leek or cutting open a pomegranate. I have many favorite things--a formation of Canadian geese flying overhead, the giggles of my grand daughters, the first ripe watermelon in summer, snowflakes on my face--these gifts from my heavenly Father delight me continually.

I read both post. Would not let me reply so I sent you an email with this message: Thanks for this beautiful post. Congratulations to you and Tom on 56 years of marriage. Not many of us can claim such a wonderful testimony of our lives together (the ups, downs and in betweens). We love you two from the bottom of our hearts and praise God he allowed our paths to cross and gave us many wonderful times together as we worked to serve Him. We miss you and hope we will be able to stay in contact with one another through your post, through our prayers together for the books you are writing and through emails. We are as near as our phone 615-512-3366 for any need you two may have.

    Barb,
Your anniversary heirloom post was a precious read just like the two of you. It is evident of the love that you and Tom have for one another. It was always a pleasure watching you both at Immanuel. You set the example for those of us who hope to build something as precious as you two have built over the years together. God bless you both and hope you enjoyed your anniversary.
    Love,
    Roberta Chambers
